Chris Halliburton | How marketing has responded to the recession
Chris Halliburton is Professor of International Management and Marketing and former UK Director of ESCP Europe Business School. He has over twenty five years' experience of strategy and marketing consultancy in numerous consumer and industrial markets for such clients as Unilever, Gerber, BOC, Caterpillar, Blue Circle (Lafarge), Ball, Rexam, Xerox, IBM, BT, Lloyd's Register, Alliance Boots, as well as work for government. This has included working at Board level. A number of these assignments were in association with PwC, acting as adviser to the Strategy and Marketing Group. His overseas experience includes work in Europe, Africa, the Americas and the Far East. Chris is a guest speaker on a number of executive programmes and has lectured in marketing at the London Business School, City University (Cass) and ESCP Europe. With research interests specialising in European management and marketing and in international branding, he is the author of numerous publications on international marketing and branding. He has recently been one of the judges for the Marketing Effectiveness Awards for the UK's Marketing Society.
